At the bottom
of the "Home" page there is a link to "membership information." Click
this link and the membership categories will be explained. At the bottom
of this page there is a link to "membership application." Click this link
and you will see a membership application form. Print this form, fill it
out, and fax it to the number indicated. The number is in Amsterdam, so
you need the Netherlands country code of 31 from outside the Netherlands.

Yes. The new
Rule clearly states that you must be a member of ADC-ICTY to be considered
for assignment. If you are currently on the Rule 45 list and have not
applied for membership in the Association you should do so. You must
submit the membership application and all documents required of all new
members.

On the Home
page there is a bank account number and swift code number. You may
transfer funds to that account. Or, you may send certified funds to the
address of the Association shown on the Home Page. The name of the
account is ADC-ICTY.

Dues are: €
360 for Full-Active; € 240 for Full-Inactive and € 120 for Aspirant
members. Membership is on an annual basis, beginning the month following
your membership acceptance. You may see you dues status by accessing your
personal records.

This is
difficult to answer. There is not a line of detainees waiting for someone
to agree to represent them. The supply exceeds the demand when it comes
to lawyers. On the other hand, with your specific information available
to a detainee or his or her lead counsel it may be that you are the exact
lawyer they are seeking. There is never a guarantee that you will get an
assignment.
