The ADC-ICTY is an independent professional association established under the laws of the Netherlands. It is not an organ of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia. We are, however, recognized as the Defence Counsel organisation serving the Tribunal pursuant to Rule 44 of the ICTY Rules of Procedure and Evidence.
